Progressing further than they had ever done in previous years, All Saints Peckham reached the final of the League's 2008 5-A-Side Tournament but were beaten 3-1 by Newgen after the match had gone to extra time. Click for photo.

Like their fellow finallists, All Saints went through their first phase group undefeated, indeed, without dropping a point, but theirs was the group reduced to only four teams, so you can tell why some of the team look so tired! They were victorious over New Life in the quarter-final and Penge Family Church in the semis, after sudden death penalties.

The 2022/23 edition of the League’s Fantasy Premier League turned out to extremely competitive, eventually decided by a single point, with last season’s runner-up, Sam Bastable, formerly of Emmanuel Lightning, going one better with his team ABCDE FC.

A day before Manchester City clinched yet another Premiership title, Hayes Ambassadors won the 2023 Mike Laxton Cup Final by defeating Woodside Baptist 3-2 after going 3-0 up just before half-time.
